ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the NFL Hall of Fame game, scheduled for August 8th, will not happen this year due to coronavirus concerns. The Cowboys and Steelers, who were scheduled to face off against each other, will now play in next summer's Hall of Fame game instead.
The enshrinement ceremony will be postponed and happen in tandem with next year's ceremony.
This marks the first official NFL event to be canceled due to the pandemic, although more could be on the horizon as the league is expected to discuss whether or not to start training camp on time during this week's conference call.
